A quick drive from downtown Calgary is the Kensington Riverside Inn. Bordered on one side by busy Memorial Drive, turn the other way and walk into the delightful Kensington village neighbourhood. Brick buildings, small cafés and interesting shops fill the streets with shoppers and those just strolling through.

The Kensington Inn provides the village with the most elegant place to stay. Four poster beds with crisp sheets, bright rooms and flawless service make for an experience not usually found in city hotels. The intimate Chef’s Table restaurant serves exquisite meals for those with deep wallets. Rates start at $199 CAD during peak season and include breakfast.

Hyatt Calgary

There isn’t really a better location than the Hyatt Regency Calgary. Lobby walls require straining the neck to see, as the ceiling is so high; gorgeous stonework appears throughout the entranceway.
